Nell'ambito delle serate pubbliche la Società Astronomica Fiorentina (S.A.F.) O.N.L.U.S., organizza per martedì 2 dicembre 2008 alle ore 21,15 presso la propria sede , una proiezione del documentario dell'Agenzia Spaziale Europea dal titolo “Gli elementi della vita sulla Terra e nello Spazio” . Il documentario, presentato by Nicole Sents biologist, who worked with ESA, examines the fundamental elements upon which governs life on Earth, the same ones that make this planet a place so beautiful and suitable to life.
It is divided into chapters, which examine the factors necessary for terrestrial life and illustrate the strategies of the ESA to develop technologies to reproduce those same processes and systems and ensure the survival space for short and long.
